Four Decades In the Making
Ingram Insurance began with a simple mission and a lot of heart. In 1981, John Ingram took a leap of faith and started selling life and health insurance out of a modest office in the Bogle Building, located on Russellville Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky. From those humble beginnings, John steadily built a reputation for trust, dedication, and always putting the client first.
As the business grew, Ingram Insurance relocated to the front office of Lively Stone Church on St. Charles Street. In 2010, a new chapter began when John’s grandson, Curt Ingram, a recent Western Kentucky University graduate, joined the company. With fresh energy and a forward-thinking mindset, Curt expanded the agency’s offerings to include property and casualty insurance.
The duo moved operations into their first standalone building back on Russellville Road in 2013.
Today, Ingram Insurance operates out of its owned office on Spring Hollow Avenue. They moved into this building in 2017. With a team of over 15 full-time professionals, we proudly serve more than 2,500 households across Kentucky and beyond.

When my grandfather, John Ingram, founded this agency in 1981, he did so with a simple goal: to help people protect what matters most. He believed in treating every client like family and always doing what’s right, even when no one is watching. Those same values continue to guide us today.
Now, over 40 years later, we’ve grown from a small office in Bowling Green to a dedicated team of professionals serving thousands of households across Kentucky. But no matter how much we grow, one thing will never change: our commitment to you.
